What happens during a HypnopunctureTM session ?

After the initial consultation where your case history is taken, Alex will then insert very fine needles into your outer ears and body. Next, Paul will begin to relax you and bring you into the alpha state of hypnosis. Once the hypnotherapy treatment is finished, the Alex will return to take out the needles and insert the auricular seeds in the outer ear. Before you leave you are also given energy essences and depending on the treatment herbal tea to support you after the session.

How many sessions does HypnopunctureTM involve?

Treating different conditions with HypnopunctureTM requires different numbers and frequency of treatments. For giving up smoking requires only one session while for weight loss we recommend a course of at least six sessions once per week. For other conditions, regular weekly treatments over a period of week or months may be necessary.

Where can I receive HypnopunctureTM ?

Hypnopuncture is available at present in London at The Summit (Highgate) and in Hertfordshire at The Changing Room (Bushey).

Is there any way hypnopuncture can help me lose weight if I'm unable to receive treatment in person?

Yes.  If you are unable to receive treatment in person because you live too far from London etc we can still send you one of our Self-Help Packs.  This pack contains 3 CD’s with recordings of all six of the hypnopuncture sessions, 2 bottles of Hypnopuncture Energy Essences which work on the energy channels in a similar way to the acupuncture, as well as 2 packs of ear seeds with instructions and a nutrition and self help guide.  The pack should be used as a six week programme and can be almost as effective as receiving treatments in person.
